Need a little help deciding: TimelineX vs XPS15

Hey fellas, need some help deciding here.
I have around $800 to spend on a laptop, and I've narrowed it down to 2 I believe unless someone can throw something else in the mix.


Situation, I have ordered a Dell XPS 15 (L501X) on CyberMonday, so I got a pretty good deal on it.
Since ordering (Limited amount of research prior to), I've found the Acer TimelineX AS4820TG-7805 that I really like.

The Dell is scheduled to be here this week.
I know that the 5650 is a better card for gaming, etc, and I know that the styling of the TimelineX better suits my personal style.


I guess my question is, which is the better system for Gaming and Video Editing? We have a HD Video Camera which I'll be doing some video editing/encoding (entry level stuff), Photoshop work, and just daily tasks with some gaming on the side.


I have a 12.7mm Slimline Panasonic Blu-Ray Burner here waiting to install as well.
