cannot burn any cd plz help

hi
i have VGN-Z46GD,i bought from hong kong
before i could burn cds on my laptop
but now i cannot burn any cd at all
my laptop reads all the cds and dvds
but when i try to burn my cd,it doesn't
i have vista
plz help me to solve this problem
